-Cost to take cab from Indian Embassy to CVS to get passport pictures taken after discovering that the photo booth at the Embassy was out of order: $8.50 (not including tip!) for 5 short blocks.
-Cost to submit application: $60
-Cost to park at Logan: $22
-Cost in tolls to drive from Logan to work late in the afternoon after being up since 5 AM: $5

-Having your boss call you the night before, just after you've purchased a nonrefundable airline ticket, to tell you that there are courier services that will do the same thing for a small fee: Just really fucking priceless. Totally, 100% priceless.
