3/5/01 - 11:20 PM Now about 3 inches on the ground. The snow has been falling steadily (lightly, but steadily) for the last four hours. As I write this, I am watching two kids -- a boy and a girl, teenagers -- throwing snowballs at cars from the front porch of the white house across the street. They haven't been particularly effective -- I've counted one hit and seventeen misses. Nor are they fearless -- they run inside the door after throwing each snowball and are reluctant to attack when there are too many cars on the road. Ooh, another hit.
